Ha'Sean Treshon "HaHa" Clinton-Dix (born December 21, 1992) is an American football safety who is a free agent. He played college football at Alabama, winning two national championships. Clinton-Dix was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first circular of the 2022 NFL Draft and has likewise been a member of the Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Las Vegas Raiders.

Early years [edit]

A native of Eatonville, Florida, Clinton-Dix was nicknamed "HaHa" as an infant by his grandmother in response to "Ha'Sean" often being pronounced (like "Shaun") instead of the intended (like "seen").[1] He prefers to go by "HaHa" and has stated that both he and his coaches love the moniker. In an interview, he explained that the truthful nickname is actually "HaHa" (no space, two capitals).[i] [two]

Clinton-Dix spent his freshman and sophomore years at Edgewater Loftier School, where he played running dorsum and was a teammate of Mike Brewster. Clinton-Dix was 1 of seven truthful freshmen that had playing time in 2011 for the Alabama Red Tide football squad. Alabama won the 2011 national championship equally it close out LSU 21–0. Professional career [edit]

On January 9, 2014, it was announced that Clinton-Dix had officially decided to forgo his remaining eligibility and enter the 2022 NFL Draft.[13] Clinton-Dix attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and completed all of the combine and positional drills. On March 12, 2014, he participated at Alabama's pro day, but opted to stand on his combine numbers and merely performed positional drills.
